The best thing to do in the case of having no credit and getting your first auto loan is to have a co-signer ready and waiting in the wings. Be ready to show proof of employment so they can see outright that you do have the means to make the payments. And be prepared to put down a reasonable sized amount as a down payment. This decreases the amount of the loan and also proves financial stability.
