Arabic translator Describes Kuwaiti Wedding Inferno
A woman in Kuwait City has been sentenced to be stoned to death for the arson that led to the death of more than 45 people. According to an Arabic Translation service, the woman is the ex-wife of the groom at a wedding where she set the fire. The wedding, with over 200 guests, was being held in a large tent, which the woman set on fire with the help of kerosene. The woman’s maids told police they saw her pouring the accelerant around the base of the tent and then setting it on fire. When questioned by police, the woman admitted to setting the fire in an effort to exact revenge from her unfaithful ex-husband.
