What Training Do I Need As a Medical Transcriber?
Cynthia has been seeing her doctor over the last couple of weeks. She noticed that he made voice recordings about her visit. Cynthia asked him about it, and he explained it to her. She asked if the medical transcriber worked at the clinic, and he told her that some of them do but they also use off-site personnel. Cynthia thought that was interesting and decided to look into it as a career. She found information online and it told her about working in clinics, hospitals and other health organizations. It also informed her that some of the transcriptionists worked from home.
