Maria never misses a class, never misses a note written down on the board, and always keeps up with the readings in the book, but somehow seems to fall short on the exams. She has in her mind that to pass exams you have to know one hundred percent off all the information, when she knows that half the stuff she reads about is completely unimportant. Maria is starting a new habit of only reading what the teacher talks about and especially paying attention to what he writes on the board.
