The Boss Gave Us a Bonus
We were working a lot of hours. It was good to know that this weekend we would all be off. The project was demanding but the deadline had been met. I was looking forward to spending time with my wife and kids. As we all went to the clock-out we saw the boss waiting for us. He gave us all thank you notes. Inside we found a bonus check and we were all cheering. The boss wrote that the operation was a success, and that this was a token of his gratitude. When I got home I showed it to my wife and she was excited too.
