Rubbing It In
My niece drives me crazy at time and she comes by it honestly. Her mom, who is my sister, is the same way. They love to rub it in when they get something new. Tonight we all met at my parents’ house to celebrate family birthdays. My niece just got a new pair of Converse All Star shoes and had to keep pointing it out to my daughter. This really upset her as she has been asking for a pair for weeks now. It’s just not in the budget. My husband and I live by a cash only rule. It we can’t pay for something in cash, then we don’t get it. We won’t have enough in our clothing budget until next month.
