The drunk driver had to repay my boyfriend
After my boyfriend got hit by a drunk driver he needed to get his car repaired. The driver had done a lot of damage and the repairs were estimated to take at least 10 days. The driver did not have insurance and my boyfriend had to pay out of pocket to get his vehicle repaired until he could get everything resolved with his insurance company. He found a cheap car rental place to rent a car from because he had to go to work. Eventually my boyfriend took the driver to court and sued him. He was ordered to pay for all of the damage he had caused and a little more.
